James Monroe Land Grant signed by President Monroe for James Craig Captain for these years.... this is 'An act of congress a grant for Officers & soldiers of the Virginia line on Continental Establishment" lands lying northwest of the river Ohio, between the little Miami and Sciota:". The land grant on parchment is 12"x14 and in good condition. The signature and some of the writing has faded slightly but clearly visible.
