J. Paul Getty signed Christmas card about 12' x 8" when open and 6" x 8" when closed. The typed "J Paul Getty" is crossed out and above it, he signed "Paul". The front displays Girolamo di Benvenuto's Nativity which is now displayed at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Malibu.
J. Paul Getty ( December 15, 1892 – June 6, 1976), was an American-born British petroleum industrialist who founded the Getty Oil Company in 1942 and was the patriarch of the Getty family. In 1957, Fortune magazine named him the richest living American, while the 1966 Guinness Book of Records named him as the world's richest private citizen, worth an estimated $1.2 billion (approx. $7.4 billion in 2019).
