Hand painted watercolor greeting card depicting a tropical scene signed M. Adams., inside note from Ernest Hemingway in ink "Merry Christmas from Papa.", not dated, 5 x 6 1/2 inches, with corresponding envelope addressed in ink in Hemingway's hand "For El Monstruo from El Colegio de celebrities de Sun Valley", 5 x 7 inches. (foxing and wear to edges and corner of envelope, one corner with small tear) Note: "Monstruo" is an affectionate name Hemingway used for Roberto Herrera.
