O’Keeffe signs on a 4.7 x 8.5 inch page, on which is attached a clipping of her seminal work Skull with Pink Rose (1931).
She writes: “This is only part of this painting. It has been cut both top and bottom/ Georgia O’Keeffe”.
A rare opportunity to own an autograph from one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. Mounted on card with tape to corners. Good condition.
Georgia O’Keeffe (1887-1986) is the most valuable female artist of all time. She painted abstract still life compositions, New Mexico landscapes and New York City scenes. She was also the subject of an iconic series of photographs by her lifelong collaborator and husband Alfred Stieglitz.
