The personal handwritten and signed letter by Franklin Pierce is in fine condition. Dated July 27, 1864, he writes to the General about meeting with him ad letter form a Clement March(A Long time friend of Pierce). He says that if he was certain of the Generals whereabouts he would meet with him and would like to see him on Saturday or Sunday.
