Signed 8"10" photo of actor Charley Grapewin.Originally acquired as part of a collection from the estate of Marian Marsh, a film star from the 1930s. Ms. Marsh appeared in the 1935 film In Spite of Danger (also known as Devil's Cargo) with Mr. Grapewin.
Charles Grapewin (December 20, 1869 – February 2, 1956) was an American vaudeville and circus performer, a writer, and a stage and film actor. He worked in over 100 motion pictures during the silent and sound eras, most notably portraying Uncle Henry in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's The Wizard of Oz (1939).
