New York, February 13th, 1863, 75 Shares, Issued and punch cancelled, Black on red and black border and underprint with Franklin and Washington on upper left and right corners, Seated allegorical Liberty with eagle and flag superimposed over U.S. Shield under ornate curved title, 25 cents U.S.I.R. adhesive stamp on lower left, S/N 554, Issued to the president of the American Bank Note Company Tracy R. Edson and signed by him as well as president Nezia Wright as treasurer and W.R. Bliss as acting secretary. There is some slight paper loss in upper right area where it the number of shares in written out, which can be restored, otherwise very clean stock. An almost identical stock not civil war period from 1868, sold for over 10k in Archives international auction in July of 2016.
